How this site is made
Real stories, sourced guidance, and exactly where AI is and isn't used.
The stories on this site are real, and no AI was used to write any of them. A story is either told to the site by someone who lived it, or it's a public story credited and linked to where it was first published.
AI helps find guidance from reputable public sources (health and child-safety organizations, government agencies, and published research) and drafts the guides from them. Stacy Willis checks every claim against its source, and edits and approves every page before it's published. Every guide lists its sources by number.
The figures on the Stats page are compared with their original sources every month by an AI-assisted check. Any change is fact-checked and approved by Stacy Willis before it's published.
AI may also suggest lesson tags for stories. Stacy chooses them.
